Two local teams win River Valley League Championships

Two local teams won River Valley League Championships this past weekend.

The Pentucket fifth grade girls team beat North Reading 33-24 in the Division 5 Tournament championship game, and the Amesbury 7th grade girls team beat Chelmsford 30-17 in the Division 7BC final.

The Pentucket girls team consisted of Madison Stewart, Elizabeth Riley, Tess Gianoulis, Ally Ward, Chloe Brin, Greta Maurer, Mackenzie Currie, Arielle Cleveland, Megan Daniels and Megan Reading, and was coached by Dave Brin, Dan Ward, Mike Riley, and Dan Stewart.

The Amesbury team included Karleigh Walker, Kaylie Cloutier, Flannery O’Connor, Emma DiPietro, Chelsea Lynch, Riley Newell, Ruth Guilbault, Ali Napoli, Sydney Daileanes and Madison Robicheau, and was coached by John Daileanes and Ben Lynch.
