Hampton Falls man to participate in gold medal game in Sochi

The gold medal game of the Paralympic Games from Sochi, Russia will air this afternoon at 1 p.m. on NBC. On the team is Taylor Chase, 27, from Hampton Falls, N.H. At age 16, Chase broke his back and suffered an incomplete spinal chord injury when he was hit in a hockey game while playing for the Eastern Hockey League’s New Hampshire Monarchs junior team. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2011 and will be looking to win the gold medal today when his United States team takes on Russia.
