Rebecca Torrisi

Pentucket, Sophomore

Pentucket coach John McNamara described Rebecca Torrisi as “a real dirt dog” who could be counted on to lock down the opposing team’s best player and play solid defense on a regular basis. Though Torrisi’s offensive numbers weren’t as impressive as teammates Kelsi McNamara and McKenna Kilian, she averaged 3.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. She did have a handful of big games, including a 9-point, 8-rebound performance against Saugus and a 7-rebound effort in the state tournament against Arlington Catholic. Torrisi was honored as CAL All-Star, maintains a 4.0 GPA and looks up to her mom as a mentor and role model.
