Bobby Barry

Pentucket, Senior

Left Wing

Bobby Barry was a CAL All-Star for Pentucket this past season, and he said the highlight of his season was beating previously undefeated North Reading 3-0 on Jan. 11. Barry’s best performance came on Jan. 20 against Everett, when he recorded 5 points on 2 goals and 3 assists to help lead the Sachems to a 9-2 win. Barry also recorded a goal and an assist in the Sachems’ 4-2 win over Rockport in the Newburyport Bank Tournament. Barry looks up to his grandmother as a role model, and he said he is still undecided on his college plans.

Josh Brown

Triton, Senior

Right Wing

The Triton captain finished his high school career with a big senior season, tallying 21 points on 7 goals and 14 assists. Brown was huge for Triton down the stretch, scoring goals in back-to-back games against Pentucket and against Newburyport in the Newburyport Bank Tournament. Brown also recorded three points in a 5-3 win over Lynnfield on Jan. 29, recording a goal and two assists in the game. After graduation, Brown said he plans to attend Westfield State.

Nick Federico

Newburyport, Senior

Defenseman

The senior defenseman was a key presence on the Newburyport blue line this past year. Federico tallied 8 points on 1 goal and 7 assists, with the lone goal coming on Jan. 4 against Pentucket. Federico also tallied assists against Canton and Pentucket in the two teams’ second meeting. After his strong play in the Newburyport Bank Tournament, he was named to the Newburyport Bank All-Tournament team, and after the season he was named a CAL All-Star. Federico said the highlight of the year for him was winning the Newburyport Bank Tournament, and after graduating he will attend Elon University.

Zachary Fitzgerald

Amesbury, Senior

Defenseman

The Amesbury senior captain recorded 9 points on 6 assists and 3 goals this season, none bigger than the game-tying goal he scored in Amesbury’s pivotal matchup against Marblehead in the Newburyport Bank Tournament, which sent the game into a shootout and ultimately sent the Indians to their first state tournament appearance since 2006. After the season, Fitzgerald received the First Annual Leo Dupree Award. Fitzgerald is also a standout football and baseball player, having played varsity on both teams for three years while captaining the football team this past fall. He maintains a 3.93 GPA and said he looks up to his Dad as a mentor.
