Lily Dow anchored the blue line for Masconomet this year while also chipping in a goal and three assists. Dow was named a Northeastern Conference All-Star, and she said the highlight of her season was qualifying for the state tournament. She said she looks up to her coaches for helping her grow as a hockey player, and as only a sophomore, she’s looking forward to coming back and getting even better next year.
Emily Galligan will go down in the record books for scoring the first goal in Haverhill-North Andover-Pentucket girls hockey program history, helping lead the Hillies to a 4-1 win in the program’s first game against Wayland. A team captain, Galligan led a team of mostly underclassmen to a solid first season, and next year she hopes to help the program grow even more.
A team captain, Jensena Moner was Masconomet’s top scorer this past season, recording 26 points on 11 goals and 15 assists to make her the conference’s sixth-leading scorer. Moner was named a Northeastern Conference All-Star after the season, and she said the highlight of her year was getting to play Austin Prep in the state tournament.
