Georgetown

Coach: Andrew Boepple (1st season)

Last year's record: 10-7

Key returning players: Ben Warren, sr.; Ben Brock, sr.; Chris Birnie, sr.; Brandon Bornholdt, sr.; Taylor Bradley, sr.; Matt Hartford, sr.; Jojo Mangano, jr.; Mike Gochakowsk, so.

Newcomers: Garry Coughlin, sr.; Ian Stotnek, sr.; Zack Graham, jr.; Neil Murphy, so.; Connor O'Grady, so.; Nick DePasquale, fr.

Strengths: Large senior class, eight in all, six returning, good leadership. Eight returning sophomores. Good mix of youth and exp erience.

Concerns: Keeping program at level it's been and moving it forward.

Coach's outlook: "We made it to the tournament last year, and the goal is to get back there, which is definitely achievable. We had a tough overtime game versus Westwood last year in the tournament, and I'd like to have a good run in the tournament this year, but we've got to get there first."

First game: Monday (4 p.m.) at North Reading

Newburyport

Coach: Ed Gaudiano (8th season)

Last year's record: 15-4

Key returning players: Peter Witherbee, sr.; Sam Francis, jr.; Drew Bourdeau, so.; Tyler Matses, jr.; James Hundertmark, sr.; Alex Buckley, jr.; Harrison Corbett, sr.; Sebastian Hardin, sr.; Nick Mombello, jr.; Cooper Hines, sr.

Newcomers: Dillon Guthro, so.; Michael Shay, fr.; Matt Kelleher, fr.; J.J. Bajko, fr.; Jared Healey, so.

Strengths: Experience, many players back from deep tournament run. Offense in pretty good shape.

Concerns: Defensively a little young, new goalie.

Coach's outlook: "We're coming off a very good season, and the kids have a lot of confidence, which is nice. The program is at a point we can compete with anyone. Playing through the schedule will be key for us, and we will need to spread the ball around to score because we're replacing Steven Matses, the player of the year from last year."

First game: April 9 (4 p.m.) at North Andover

Pentucket

Coach: Rick Hayes (4th Season, 2003-05; 2012)

Last year's record: 2-15

Key returning players: Ben Colombo, sr.; Calvin Wiles, jr.; Sam Colombo, so.; Kyle Richardson, so.; Brett Connelly, so.

Newcomers: Kevin Miles, jr.; Luke Strangman, fr.; Michael Aiduk, so.; Nick Zaia, so.

Strengths: Speed.

Concerns: Only 11 upperclassmen.

Coach's outlook: "We're working diligently together as a team to work upon last year's record."

First game: Tomorrow (noon) at North Reading

Triton

Coach: Sean Parsons (2nd season)

Last year's record: 3-13

Key returning players: Dominic Rovetto, sr.; Ryan Clark, sr.; Dimitri Tzitson, sr.

Strengths: Depth. Attack is all returning as juniors this year.

Concerns: Midfield line. Learning a new system.

Coach's outlook: "Making the tournament is our goal right now, and it's a very possible goal. Anything less is not good. A lot of the guys are working hard to achieve that goal."

First game: Wednesday (7 p.m.) at Lynn Classical
