“Definitely my ball-striking has improved throughout the year.”

“About 280 yards — 275 or 280.”
What’s the lowest round you’ve ever had?
“I shot 1-under par at my grandparents’ course in Sterling.”
When did you first start playing golf?
“When I was about 3 or 4, I’d go outside and hit balls with my dad. I didn’t get serious until I was 11 or 12. That’s when I started to really love it.”
Do you play any other sports?
“I used to play hockey, but I don’t anymore because of concussion issues. I play baseball.”
Do you have any superstitions on the course?
“I always mark my ball the same.”
What type of clubs do you use?
“I use Titleist woods and Mizuno irons.”
If you could play in a foursome with any three players, who would you choose?
“Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and the rookie, Jordan Spieth.”
How do you settle yourself down on the course?
“I try to think about not playing that bad. I still have the rest of the course to play, so I can bounce back with a couple of good scores.”
If you were playing 18 holes for fun, how many mulligans would you take?
“I only take mulligans when I hit the ball out of bounds.”
