Winner’s Circle meeting

The October meeting of the Winner’s Circle Running Club will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. upstairs at the Winner’s Circle. The meeting will be preceeded by the usual Thursday run at the Circle at 5:30 p.m. Topics to be discussed at the meeting include the Mill Cities Relay (Dec. 8), the Boston Marathon, the WCRC holiday season races, the “predict-your-time” club turkey trot (Nov. 23), and more.

Vote O’Leary

The USA Today High School sports website is hosting a “Best coach in Massachusetts” competition. St. John’s Prep coach and Groveland resident Jim O’Leary is the closest to a local in the Mass. voting. Vote here: http://contest.usatodayhss.com/vote/bestcoach2013/ma/.
