Corkery made game-changing plays for Pentucket on both sides of the ball in a 14-7 upset victory over Masconomet. Corkery grabbed two interceptions and hauled in four catches for 113 receiving yards. His second pick of the game came in the final minute on a pass that Masco receiver Corey Tines appeared to catch, but Corkery ripped the ball away from him as the two tumbled to the ground.
The sophomore led the Indians with 99 yards on just seven carries in a 35-14 victory over Ipswich Friday evening. Foley got the Indians on the board in the first quarter when he found the edge and rushed 33 yards for a score. Foley also led the Indians in receiving with three catches for 61 yards.
Therrien had the game-winning score in Newburyport’s 19-13 victory over Triton Friday night. The receiver took a slant route 77 yards for a touchdown, breaking a 13-13 tie with 2:46 to go in the third quarter. Therrien finished the night with three catches for 93 yards, leading all Clipper receivers.
