Masconomet coach Jim Pugh confirmed yesterday that his lead running back, Mike Tivinis, will miss the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury. Tivinis, who rushed for 154 yards on 11 carries last week against Pentucket, injured the shoulder on a 53-yard run in the third quarter. Masconomet did not score another point for the remainder of the game. On the season, Tivinis had 56 carries for 501 yards and four touchdowns ... Tivinis will be replaced by twin brothers Mackenzie and Austin Cashin. Mackenzie had seven carries for 48 yards last week after Tivinis was injured.

Masconomet quarterback Troy Bunker has completed 26 of 53 passes for 513 yards and four touchdowns this season. He struggled against Pentucket last week, completing 7 of 15 passes for 81 yards and two interceptions ...

Masconomet’s leading receiver is Corey Tines, who has nine catches for 268 yards and four touchdowns.
