Dacy's 3-pointer lifts Triton over Masconomet

Paul Dacy hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Vikings (4-2) the victory over Masconomet Friday night. Zak Alaoui led the Vikings with 20 points. Dacy had 11. Connor Barry added nine. Travis Kneeland had 10 rebounds.

Pentucket 3, Lynnfield 2

Ian Mitchell had two goals and an assist for Pentucket. Tom Pingree added three assists. Sam Bomba made 21 saves.

Freshman-Sophomore Invitational

Newburyport sophomore Nick Carleo captured the Division 4 title in the 2-mile in 9:58.30. Newburyport’s Olivia Kearney also competed in the 2-mile (13:25), setting a personal record. Pentucket’s Paige Wesolowski placed seventh in the 600 meters (1:46.60) in the Division 3 meet. Teammates Molly Smith (55-meter hurdles, 10:07) and Brianna Repke (1,000, 3:22.59) also competed.

Victor Ramirez, Mark Rosmarinofski, Jesse Caldwell, Mark Boyle and Clay Bruneau recorded pins for the Vikings (8-3-1). Cody Nixon and Luke Boyle won by decision.

Triton 45, Malden Catholic 30

Ramirez, John Boyle, Nixon, Nate Eastabrook, Mark Boyle and Bruneau won by fall for Triton. Luke Boyle won by forfeit. Caldwell won by decision.

Triton 42, Whittier 42

Ramirez, Rosmarinofski, Luke Boyle, Caldwell, Mark Boyle, Bruneau and Ramses Medrano won by fall for the Vikings.
