Martin's four goals lift Amesbury

Amesbury 5, Rockport 0

Amanda Martin had four goals in the first half for Amesbury (2-2-1). Lauren Fedorchak added the fifth goal. Logan Flanagan, Hayley Tagliente, Colleen Noonan and Sydney Sunnerberg recorded assists. Lucy Schultz came off the bench to have a strong game at inside midfield.

Boys Soccer

Georgetown 4, Manchester Essex 0

Jared Warren and Ben Noelk scored two goals each for Georgetown. Noelk, Ryan Slack and Patrick Slack had assists. Gus Savage made three saves.


Amesbury 154, Rockport 118

Sophomores Paddy Flahardy (29 points), Kyle Patterson (28) and Brendan Foley (28) led Amesbury (5-2). Freshman Lowell Deschenes scored 25 points in his first varsity action. Fred Halloran added 24.

Pentucket 145, Hamilton-Wenham 144

The Sachems won their second match in as many days by one point. Yesterday’s match came down to the seventh golfer since the score was tied 133-133. Krystal Knight led Pentucket (2-4) with 30 points. Mitch Murray (26), Dan Beaton (24) and Brandon Daniels (22) also factored in the scoring.
