Abbie Bresnahan, Jaycie Triandafilou, Maryam Moshrefi and Liza Twomey scored goals for Newburyport (6-0-1). Amy Sullivan had two assists. Lauren Bean and Julia Kipp had assists. Newburyport hit the crossbar three times and the post once. On the season, the Clippers have hit the crossbar or post 21 times.

Amanda Martin scored the lone goal for Amesbury (3-2-1) on a penalty kick in the second half. Ashley Riter made seven saves, and Kassidy Kennefick made six for Pentucket (0-5-2).

Governor’s Academy 4, St. George’s 0

Kendall Hamm scored three goals for the Govs (3-0). Alex Curran-Cardarelli added the fourth goal.

Will Dwyer, Brendan Sullivan, Sean Keegan, Brandon O’Neal, Logan Sherwood and David Greene scored goals for Pentucket (4-2-1). O’Neal, Ryan Beaton, Evan Burke, Aidan McLellan, Kyle Sedler and Noah Curtin had assists. Steven Hardy played well for the Sachems.

The Clippers dropped to 2-5 with the loss.

Triton 2, Lynnfield 0

Jake Papanicolaou and Sam Wright scored the goals for Triton (4-3). Papanicolaou and Luke Reiniger had assists.

Georgetown 1, Hamilton-Wenham 1

Chris Chiklakis scored the goal for Georgetown (5-1-1) on an assist from Jared Warren. Gus Savage made six saves.

Amesbury 19, Saugus 40

Jimmy Stone (2nd, 17:42), Riley O’Connor (3rd, 18:01), Liam Gallagher (4th, 18:03), Patrick McCue (7th, 18:22) and James Wrothen (10th, 18:51) finished in the top five spots for Amesbury (4-2).

Newburyport 15, Lynnfield 50

Newburyport 19, Ipswich 44

Nick Carleo (1st, 16:48), Chris Orlando (3rd, 17:00), Tyler Newfell (4th, 17:00), Joe Molvar (5th, 17:03) and Josh Molvar (6th, 17:04) rounded out the scoring for undefeated Newburyport (6-0).

Triton swept by North Reading, Hamilton-Wenham

Austin Stevens (9th, 18:51), Curran Callewaert (15th, 19:34), Ryan Kent (16th, 19:41), Ryan Sheedy (18th, 19:46) and Dan Hogran (19th, 19:47) rounded out Triton’s top five.
