This senior forward was an All-Cape Ann League selection and earned a roster spot in the Eastern Massachusetts All-League game. He had two goals and an assist against Newburyport. He cites Brazil National Team member Neymar as his role model.
Co-Player of the Year
Sedler was an All-Cape Ann League selection. He thanks Ken for his support, and says “This is for you, love you friend. Rest easy.” His role model is anyone who keeps dreams alive, including his dad who works to keep a business alive.
As a junior, Byron holds a 4.1 GPA and was honored with a Cape Ann League All-Star nomination. He thanks coach Matt Solazzo for his success as a midfielder and a defender this season. His highlight of the season was the team banquet.
Flanagan was a team captain each of the past two seasons. He became an All-Star because of his strong forward play, something he credits to his mom who attended every game, and his dad, who always gave great advice.
Graham was named a team captain for his leadership and a Cape Ann League All-Star for his strong play as a forward. His highlight of this season was playing a great final game after a rough season. He thanks his parents for being role models.
Marcolini, an All-League midfielder and stopper, helped his team clinch a spot in the state tournament with a tie against Pentucket. Marcolini, who maintains a 3.0 GPA, will graduate this year and looks to pursue a career in teaching.
Salmonsen, a Cape Ann League All-Star forward, performed his best during crunch time. He scored the game-winning goals against both Rockport and North Reading. Next year, Salmonsen will be attending the University of New Hampshire.
Sullivan is just a junior but left a lasting impact on the soccer field this season. He scored a goal against Georgetown with just three minutes remaining to tie the game. His play earned him his All-Cape Ann League title.
In his senior season, Traxler earned an All-Cape Ann League and All-Eastern Massachusetts selection. He is excited to graduate high school this year and head to Eastern Connecticut State University next year, where he will play soccer.
Dalton’s outstanding play in front of the goal earned him the title of Cape Ann League All-Star. Going along with his outstanding play on the soccer field, Tzitzon holds a 3.85 GPA. He led Triton to its first tournament berth since 2010.
