Aly Leahy

Defense

Leahy was the first Newburyport player ever to earn All-New England honors. The Cape Ann League Player of the Year and Eastern Mass. Division 3 Player of the Year maintains a 4.2 GPA. She hopes to attend Union College and cites her sister, Samantha Leahy, as her role model.

Carly Brand

Newburyport, Sr.

Midfield

Brand tallied 15 goals and two assists in 13 games after returning from an ankle injury. The All-League and Eastern Mass. All-Star selection maintains a 4.17 GPA. She cites Newburyport coaches Robb Gonnam and Kevin Sheridan as her role models.

Abbie Bresnahan

Newburyport, So.

Midfield/Striker

As a sophomore, Bresnahan earned All-League and Eastern Mass. All-Star selections. She tallied 15 goals and 10 assists on the season. She is the second Bresnahan sister to win a state championship at Newburyport, along with her sister, Taylor, who Abbie cites as her role model.

Kelly DiFazio

Amesbury, Sr.

Defense

The Cape Ann League All-Star selection anchored an Amesbury defense that posted three shutouts and allowed one goal each in three other games. She will attend Salem State University, and cites her father and Fitness Together owner Sean Stellmach as her role models.

Lilly Donovan

Newburyport, Sr.

Goalkeeper

Donovan led Newburyport to a state championship by posting 18 shutouts and a 0.24 GAA. She allowed five goals all season, none of which came in five state tournament games. She maintains a 3.8 GPA and cites Newburyport coach Kevin Sheridan as her role model.

Shannon Dube

Triton, Sr.

Striker

Dube was named a CAL All-Star after leading the Vikings to their first state-tournament berth in program history. She maintains a 3.75 GPA and cites her sister, Lindsay, as her role model. Her season highlight was “the whole tournament experience we went through together.”

Julia Kipp

Newburyport, Sr.

Defense/Striker

Kipp tallied one goal and nine assists on the season for the state-champion Clippers. She maintains a 3.9 GPA and cites Newburyport coach Robb Gonnam as her role model. She was one of the Clippers’ most versatile players with her ability to play offense and defense.

Amanda Martin

Amesbury, Jr.

Midfield

The All-Cape Ann League selection scored four goals in a single game against Rockport. She plans to play soccer in college, but has not yet narrowed her search. She cites Fitness Together owner Sean Stellmach as her role model.

Casey Ross

Triton, Sr.

Defender

The Triton captain was named team MVP as well as a CAL All-Star. She maintains a 4.55 GPA and serves as a National Honor Society officer, Foreign Language National Honor Society president, class officer, Student Council secretary and Peer Mediation officer.

Morgan Snow

Triton, So.

Forward

Snow was an All-League selection for the Vikings, who earned their first state-tournament berth in program history. She maintains a 3.85 GPA and cites her sister, Mackenzie, as her role model. She says the highlight of her season was “the hard work we put into the season.”

Amy Sullivan

Newburyport, Sr.

Midfield

Sullivan tallied three goals and 10 assists on the season. She assisted on the game-winning goal in Newburyport’s 1-0 victory over Granby in the Division 3 state championship game. She maintains a 3.9 GPA and cites former Clipper Shawn Crifo as her role model.

Jaycie Triandafilou

Newburyport, Sr.

Striker

Triandafilou led the state-champion Clippers with 20 goals. She scored the only goal in the state-championship victory over Granby in Worcester. The All-League, All-State and Eastern Mass. All-Star selection cites former Clipper Lindsey Tomasz as her role model.
