Amesbury girls soccer team remains unbeaten

Girls Soccer

Amesbury 2, Lynnfield 0

Hannah Zannini scored both goals for Amesbury (13-0-2). Natalie Dawes had assists on both goals. Goalkeeper Sarah Abraham had four saves.

Field Hockey

Amesbury 1, Georgetown 0

Ashley Valme scored the Amesbury goal on an assist from Amanda Schell. Cassie Schultz had the shutout for Amesbury (5-8-2).

Golf

Division 3 North Tournament

Newburyport placed fourth out of 18 schools at the Division 3 North Tournament at Hillview Golf Course in North Reading. Brendan Crowther collected an individual state title by shooting a 1-over par 70. He and 11 other players will face off in the statewide individual championship Monday at Red Tail Country Club in Devens.

The fourth-place finish was Newburyport’s highest in program history.
