Amesbury basketball team collects fifth win

Boys Basketball

Amesbury 61, Rockport 44

Devlin Gobeil led Amesbury (5-2) with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Curran O’Connor added 12 points and five rebounds. Pat Halloran had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Kyle Arseneau and Jack Fortin scored eight points each for the Indians.

Manchester Essex 76, Georgetown 70

Patrick Bjork had 25 points and 15 rebounds for Georgetown (2-5). Brandon Willis scored nine second-half points for the Royals.

North Reading 59, Triton 51

Zak Alaoui led Triton (4-3) with 21 points. Connor Barry added 15.

Girls Basketball

Pentucket 52, Hamilton-Wenham 42

Alex Moore led Pentucket (8-0) with 22 points. Coley Viselli added 15.

Ice Hockey

Newburyport 4, North Reading 0

Nate Hickman had two goals for Newburyport. Tyler Therrien and Jay Dylingowski also scored goals.
