Pentucket beats Hamilton-Wenham with victory in final event

Girls Indoor Track

Pentucket 44, Hamilton-Wenham 42

The Sachems (4-2) clinched the meet with a victory in the final event, the 4x400 relay. Marisa Lundy, Tori Spofford, Kristin Fitzgerald and Paige Wesolowski finished in 4:34.32 for the walk-off win. Spofford (300, 49.92), Brianna Repke (1,000, 3:40.96) and Marissa Porter (mile, 5:47.20) also won individual events.

Boys Basketball

North Reading 66, Amesbury 38

Grant Bellino led Amesbury with 11 points and six rebounds. Pat Halloran had seven points, five rebounds and two steals. Curran O’Connor had six points and five rebounds. Devlin Gobeil tallied four points and 11 rebounds.

Hamilton-Wenham 58, Georgetown 50

Christian Gesualdi led the Royals with 15 points. Patrick Bjork had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
