Pentucket track team sweeps tri-meet

Pentucket 67, Manchester Essex 19

Pentucket 50, North Reading 36

Ali Attenasio won two invididual events for Pentucket (6-2) — the 50-yard hurdles (7.6) and shot put (26-5 1/2). Charlotte Merritt (50-yard dash, 6.5), Tyler Feeney (high jump, 4-8), Tori Spofford (300, 46.7), Paige Wesolowski (600, 1:37.4), Kristin Fitzgerald (1:37.4), Marissa Porter (mile, 5:34.6), Brianna Repke (1,000, 3:27.5) and the 4x400 relay team (4:39.6) of Marisa Lundy, Spofford, Fitzgerald and Wesolowski also placed first for the Sachems.

Hamilton-Wenham 52, Triton 34

Kerstin Darsney placed first in the hurdles (7.38) and high jump (5-2) for Triton. Elise Mitchell (1,000, 3:23) and Madeline Quigley (mile, 6:03) also won individual events for Triton.

Boys Indoor Track

Triton 43, Hamilton-Wenham 43

Mike Theberge won two events for Triton — the high jump (5-4) and shot put (36-4). Jake Eaton (300, 40.9), Dmitri Hunt (600, 1:28) and Austin Stevens (mile, 5:18) also won individual events for the Vikings.

Ice Hockey

Amesbury 0, Lexington 0

Jeff Buczyk had 21 saves in the shutout for Amesbury (6-6-1). The Indians have been held to three goals in their last four games.

Arlington 2, Triton 1

The Vikings dropped to 8-4-0 with the loss.
