AHS All-Sports Boosters Club is hosting an "Amesbury High Night of Fun and Games May 8 (4 to 8 p.m.) at Lena's Seafood and Captains Corner in Salisbury. The entire facility at Captains Corner will be open, including the mini-golf course, batting cages and go-carts. Proceeds will support the efforts of the AHS Grad Night Committee and the AHS All-Sports Boosters Club. Mini-golf tickets are $7 each and include a free batting cage token. Tickets can be purchased directly from members of either group and are also on sale at Amesbury High School, Cutter's Plus in Amesbury, and Amesbury Skate and Sport Shop. A new co-ed adult field hockey league will be starting in May at the Amesbury Sports Park. This league is designed for recent high school graduates, college students, as well as retired field hockey players looking to continue playing competitive field hockey. The hour-long games will be 8v8 format, plus a goalie, and will run Tuesday nights starting May 15, with start times between 7 and 9 p.m. Limited space is available.
