Pentucket exits tourney with loss to Watertown

The seventh-seeded Sachems (11-6-3) fell to second-seeded Watertown (15-2-2) in the Division 3 North quarterfinals, although not without a fight. Connor Beaton scored the goal for Pentucket, tying the game at 1-1 in the second half. Watertown’s Roman Davis scored the game-winner with 17 minutes remaining. Keeper Cody Sedler kept the Sachems in the game despite the fact that Watertown controlled play for most of the second half. Davis’ goal came off a rebound from a shot that deflected from the far post.
