Field Hockey

The Governor’s Academy will host the 39th annual Northeast Field Hockey Academy, directed by Shannon Hlebichuk, head coach of the UMass Lowell field hockey team. There will be two programs, one running from July 13-16 for girls ages 10-18, and another from July 14-16 for girls ages 8-10. Overnight, extended day and day camp options are available for the older kids, and a half-day option is available for the younger ones. Triton Regional High School will be hosting a variety of sports camps and clinics over the coming summer. TLCAMPS will be hosting the Sachem Baseball School in West Newbury and the Newburyport Basketball Academy at Newburyport High School during the month of July. The Sachem Baseball School will run three weeks of clinics for various ages and the Newburyport Basketball Academy will run two separate weeks for specific ages. All five sessions will emphasize the proper fundamentals of the game, team work as well as stress the importance of sportsmanship and learning how to compete in a fun atmosphere.
