United States Tennis Association Play Day a hit in Amesbury

Amesbury High School played host to the USTA Play Day last Saturday. The event, held by the Amesbury Recreation Department, Coach Brett Manoloff and the USTA was a free way for local kids to have fun playing the game of tennis.

Tomorrow, Amesbury High will again host a tennis event. Amesbury Community Tennis has brought back the Amesbury Days Doubles Tennis Tournament, which will be held tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants must be at least 10-years-old. All teams will play at least two matches and level of play will be separated into two flights: Intermediate and beginner. The cost of play is the price of a one new can of tennis balls.
