Peak Performance Clinic

The Peak Performance speed, agility and quickness clinic will run from June 23 through Aug. 15 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at Fuller Field in Newburyport. It is a multi-sport speed, agility, quickness and game conditioning clinic for both male and female athletes. The focus is on injury prevention through training techniques. NEF Golf Open

The Newburyport Education Foundation will be holding its annual Golf Open tournament on Monday, July 21, at 11 a.m. The tournament will be held at the Renaissance Golf Club in Haverhill, and all funds raised will go to benefit the Newburyport Public Schools. Registration is $225, and anyone who purchases a ticket by June 30 will also receive a $25 gift certificate to Oregano Pizzeria and Ristorante. Maudslay SummerXC Series

The Maudslay Summer XC series races will be held on Thursday evenings from June 19 through Aug. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Maudslay State Park. Races of 1.5 miles and 3 miles of the runner’s choice will be run with a mutual start time of 6:30 p.m. There is no entry fee — all runners will get their finishing time and all finishers under 14 will receive a ribbon. All runners who complete four or more of the eight races will receive a Summer XC Series T-shirt compliments of Greater Boston Running Company. The races are open to all ages and all abilities. Basketball

Registration for 1v1 Sports Training’s Rage Streetball League is now open. Boys and girls from grades 3-8 are invited to either form a team or join as a free agent and be assigned to a team. The league will consist of eight weekly games, weekly practices, and participants will receive a pinni and shorts. The league will run on Saturdays from June 28 to Aug. 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and there will be six divisions, three each for boys and girls, and the age breakdown will go from 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade and 7th-8th grade.
