Registration for the YWCA’s Tween Summer Program is now open. Children from grades 5-7 will enjoy a variety of fitness challenges geared toward enhancing their cardiovascular and muscular systems while targeting core strength and balance. Instructors are certified personal trainers and fitness instructors. Each session is two weeks and meets twice a week. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 9 a.m., and registration is $50. For more information, call 978-465-9922.

Amesbury Youth Recreation will be holding Prime Time Lacrosse Day Clinics this summer for players looking to improve their skills. Staff consisting of current and former college and professional lacrosse players will teach all aspects of both individual and team-based skills. Participants should bring their own sticks. The clinic will run from July 28-31, Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon and is for kids ages 8-15. Registration is $195 and the clinic will take place at Woodsom Farm. NFL Flag Football registration is now open. Seacoast Youth Flag Football’s Fall Registration is open for coed ages 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14 and 15-17. Games are played every Saturday starting the first week of September and runs 10 weeks. NFL Flag Football is the premier Flag Football League emphasizing: Football fundamentals, fitness, teamwork & sportsmanship. All players get official NFL team jersey, socks and shorts. NEF Golf Open

The Newburyport Education Foundation will be holding its annual Golf Open tournament on Monday, July 21, at 11 a.m. The tournament will be held at the Renaissance Golf Club in Haverhill, and all funds raised will go to benefit the Newburyport Public Schools. Registration is $225, and anyone who purchases a ticket by June 30 will also receive a $25 gift certificate to Oregano Pizzeria and Ristorante.
