Amesbury girls tennis head coach Brett Manoloff will be offering tennis instruction to help local youth to learn the game of tennis. The instruction will begin on Monday, July 21, and continue until July 25. Instruction for grades 1-3 will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m; grades 4-6 will take place between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m; grades 7-11 will take place between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The cost is $60 for the week, and to register, go to amesburygirlstennis.org and click on the ACT page.

The first annual Amesbury Summer Basketball Clinic will be conducted by John Daileanes from July 28-31 at the Amesbury Middle School gym (girls, 8 to 11 a.m. and boys, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) for students entering grades 3-9. The RIM Sports Complex in Hampton, N.H., will be offering a variety of summer programs this upcoming. The Summer Sports Activities Camp runs from July 7 to Aug. 9 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and costs $89 per week ($55 lunch option available). Sports and activities in include basketball, volleyball, soccer, badminton, kickball, flag football and wiffleball.

Football, girls lacrosse, tennis, soccer, basketball and outdoor adventure camps and clinics will be offered at Pingree School for a variety of ages this summer. Soccer, baseball, field hockey and lacrosse camps and clinics are being offered by Seacoast United Sports Club. From Aug. 4-7, Amesbury will host soccer clinics for 3-12 year olds.
