Masconomet 3,Triton 2

Triton lost a close meet to Masconomet yesterday, winning two of the three singles matches while dropping both doubles matches. The winners for Triton were John DiDonato, who won at second singles 6-0, 3-6, 6-4, and Andrew McGrath, who won at third singles 6-3, 6-4. Triton is now 9-4 on the year.

Pentucket 5,Newburyport 0

Playing without their best player in Chris Kirkpatrick, Newburyport was swept by Pentucket in yesterday’s home meet. The Sachems won all three singles matches 6-0, 6-0, with Connor Aulson beating James Kipp at first singles, Jack Donahue beating Sebastien Basson at second singles and Lucas Chory beating Ryan Gabriel at third singles, and the Sachems also took both doubles matches, with the team of Logan Sherwood and Adam Chory winning 6-3, 6-0 at first doubles, and Will Koepacwicz and Davis Jackson winning 6-4, 6-2 at second doubles.
