Pentucket 10,Saugus 8 (Wednesday)

Freshman Molly Drescher picked up the win in her first varsity start on Wednesday, going 6 1/3 innings while allowing 2 runs on 6 hits with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts. Jenny Nelson came in relief to pick up the save, recording the final two outs by way of strikeout to end the game. Tyler Feeney went 2-4 with a run and an RBI, Mary Kate Corrado went 2-4 with a double, a run and an RBI, Kelly Murray went 1-2 with a double, 2 RBIs and a run, Kassidy Kennefick went 2-4 with 2 runs and an RBI, and Drescher had an RBI triple to support her own cause. Pentucket is now 8-8 on the year and will play again next Thursday against Georgetown at home.
