Football, girls lacrosse, tennis, soccer, basketball and outdoor adventure camps and clinics will be offered at Pingree School for a variety of ages this summer. Soccer, baseball, field hockey and lacrosse camps and clinics are being offered by Seacoast United Sports Club this summer and are coming to a town near you. From Aug. 4-7, Amesbury will host Soccer clinics for 3-12 year olds. Then from Aug. 18-21, Groveland will host a clinic for 4-12 year olds. Registration for the YWCA’s Tween Summer Program is now open. Children from grades 5-7 will enjoy a variety of fitness challenges geared towards enhancing their cardiovascular and muscular systems while targeting core strength and balance. Participants might be athletes or just want to get in shape and get strong. Instructors are certified personal trainers and fitness instructors offering the highest quality instruction around. Each session is two weeks and meets twice a week. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 9 a.m., and registration is $50. For more information, call (978) 465-9922.
