The first annual Amesbury Summer Basketball Clinic will be conducted by John Daileanes from July 28-31 at the Amesbury Middle School gym (girls 8 to 11 a.m. and boys 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) for students entering grades 3-9. Registration is now open for the Triton Viking and Junior Viking Baseball clinic, which will take place at Triton Regional High School between June 23-26. The cost for each participant is $119 for the Viking clinic and $69 for the Junior clinic. Peak Performance Clinic
The Peak Performance speed, agility and quickness clinic will run from June 23 through Aug. 15 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at Fuller Field in Newburyport. It is a multi-sport speed, agility, quickness and game conditioning clinic for both male and female athletes. The focus is on injury prevention through the most up to date training techniques. The YWCA will be offering an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course from June 23-27 to participants 15 years of age and older, and an American Red Cross Review Lifeguard Course from June 28-29. The rate for the full lifeguarding course is $300 for members, $350 for non-members, and the review course is $150 for members and $175 for non-members.
