Farrell's 10th goal lifts Pentucket

Boys Soccer

Pentucket 4, Manchester Essex 0

Matt Farrell’s 10th goal of the season opened the scoring for Pentucket (8-1-1). Brandon O’Neal added a goal and an assist. Trevor Collins and Brendan Sullivan also scored goals.

Girls Soccer

Pentucket 3, Manchester Essex 0

Pentucket (1-6-3) earned its first win under first-year coach Meghan Goldweber. Senior Collen Killian scored all three goals. Sophomore Samantha McGrail played well at midfield. Goalkeeper Sam Bomba made four saves.


Pentucket 121, Ipswich 115

Krystal Knight and C.J. Ingraham both shot 41 for 27 points each. John Sirois had 24 points. Tom Pingree added 20 points for Pentucket (6-5).

Newburyport 175, Triton 157

Newburyport coach Steve Malenfant said his Clippers posted the highest score in quota play in the school’s history. Travis Koocher shot 1-under 35 with 38 quota points. Captain Brendan Crowther had 30 points. Ben Ventura (28), Kyle Bushnell (29), Griffin Brown (22), and Nina Harrington (28) also contributed to the scoring.
