In a meet that is scored as a co-ed format, Pentucket placed first, ahead of Ipswich (2nd) and Triton (3rd). Newburyport, North Reading and Amesbury also competed.
For the Pentucket girls, Marissa Porter (mile, 5:32.05), Ali Attenasio (pole vault, 10-0), McKenna Kilian (high jump, 5-0; 400, 1:02.88), Chase Marcotte (triple jump, 32-8 1/2), the 4x100 relay of Hallie Milne, Tess Nogueira, Colleen Kilian and Charlotte Merritt, and the 4x400 relay team of Marisa Lundy, Porter, McKenna Kilian and Paige Wesolowski placed first. Pentucket’s boys winners include Cooper Carifio (100, 12.05), Ian Mitchell (400, 53.08), the shuttle hurdles team of Franco Pizzarella, Steven Hardy, Jeff Funk and Jake Baribeau, and the 4x200 relay team of Tim Freiermuth, Jake Wildes, Tom Funk and David Greene.
Triton’s Kelsie Ferris also placed first (100, 13.67).

Mara Spears pitched a shutout for Triton (1-3). Rose Gaffin had a two-out bases-loaded double in the seventh to break a scoreless tie.
Amesbury 9, Pentucket 2
The Indians (4-0) remained perfect on the season.
Newburyport 12, Danvers 6
Michael Shay led the way offensively for Newburyport (3-0). Drew Bourdeau keyed the defense. Dillon Guthro earned the victory in net.
