Marie Cahalane scored the goal for the Clippers (2-1-1). Lauren Singer had a shutout in goal.

Governor’s Academy 3, Cushing 0

Elena Driscoll scored two goals for the Govs. Hannah Quin had one. Maria Krull made two saves.

Girls Soccer

Pentucket 0, North Reading 0

Ashley Riter (4 saves) and Kassidy Kennefick combined on a shutout on net for the Sachems. Pentucket’s defense of Gianna Rosenau, Paige Wesolowski, Rebecca Torrisi, and Grace Dore played well. Audrey Moolic, Sarah Wiles, and McKenna Kilian made an impact offensively, but the Sachems could not find the net.

Golf

North Reading 178, Triton 161

Jon Seward scored 34 points for Triton (3-2). Brett Greenberg (27), Ryan Manning (27), Brad Small (26) and Jake Aponis (26) also contributed.
