Pentucket lacrosse wins 4th in a row

Pentucket 5; Lynnfield 4

Luke Strangman led Pentucket (13-5) with two goals. Nick Zaia added a goal and an assist. Brendan Sullivan and Cody Rothwell also scored goals. Nick Arcadipane and Connor Beaton had assists.

Boys Tennis

Pentucket 4; Triton 1

Jack Donahue (6-2, 5-7, 6-2) and Nolan Bridgewater (6-4, 5-7, 6-2) won singles matches for Pentucket (5-9). Danny Ryan and Adam Chory won at first doubles (6-1, 6-4). Logan Sherwood and Will Kopaciewicz (4-6, 6-3, 6-0) won at second doubles.

Amesbury 3; Newburyport 2

Grant Bellino (6-4, 7-5)and Nick Heitmann (6-2, 6-3) won singles matches for Amesbury. Josh Eby and Sam Springis won at second doubles (6-3, 6-3). Chris Kirkpatrick (6-4, 7-6) won at first singles for Newburyport. Henry Jacqz and James Kipp won at first doubles (6-4, 6-0).

Girls Tennis

Amesbury 5, Newburyport 0

The Indians (6-10) have their highest win total in school history. Madison Padgett (6-0, 6-1), Erika Landers (6-3, 6-3) and Stephanie Abraham (6-3, 6-3) won singles matches. Hayley Buonodono and Emily Myer won at doubles (7-5, 6-4), as did Jill Hadwen and Olivia King (6-0, 6-2).

Coli Downey (6-3, 6-1), Rachel Darke (6-4, 6-3) and Boo Torrisi (2-6, 6-3, 2-0) won singles matches for Pentucket (5-8). Anna Quattrini and Beebe Jackson (6-4, 6-2) won at first doubles. MaryKate O’Regan and Maddie Torrisi (4-6, 6-2, 7-6) won at second doubles.
