Triandafilou nets two goals in Newburyport win

Jaycie Triandafilou netted two goals in Newburyport’s opener. Lauren Bean and Delaney Bartol had assists. Julia Kipp also played well.

Golf

Triton 152, Saugus 82

Brett Greenberg led Triton with 28 points. Jon Seward (27), Kyle Hillick (25), Adam Chatterton (25), Ryan Manning (24) and Mike Shay (23) rounded out the scoring.

Amesbury 164, Wilmington 99

Kyle Patterson and Paddy Flahardy both shot 3 over par for 30 points for Amesbury (2-0). Jack Cashman, Patrick Halloran, Sam Burnham and Anthony Calvani scored 26 points each.

Field Hockey

Pentucket 1, Saugus 1

Meghan Bresnahan scored the lone goal for Pentucket. Tayla Recca had an assist. Carley Desjardins played well in the midfield. Emily Mikson made two saves.
