Coach’s outlook: “We begin the season with two huge rivals with Triton and Pentucket before we start our league games. We must prepare for these two rival games as it could set the tone on the season in the CAL Large and Small as well as create points in the power ranking playoff system.”

Georgetown

Head coach: Paul Sobolewski (3rd year, 2-19)

Last year’s record: 1-10

Concern: The Royals have gone 5-36 in the last four years.

Coach’s outlook: “This is a good group with a great work ethic. We have so much varsity experience, but we have to stay healthy. Colby Ingraham has a strong arm and he can run. We’re excited to see what he can do. We have a stud tight end (Pat Bjork) who is tough to cover.”

Newburyport

Head coach: Ed Gaudiano (26th season, 160-108)

Pentucket
