Canning sisters lift Triton over East Boston

Sisters Jessica and Hannah Canning had 11 points each for the Vikings (4-12). Harley Wood added five. Rachel Williamson and Erin Beauparlant played great defense, according to coach Karen Christian.

The Vikings (20-4) reached 20 wins for the fourth year in a row. John Boyle (106 lbs., 0:53), Luke Boyle (126 lbs., 4:08), Mark Boyle (145 lbs., 1:25), Steve Murphy (152 lbs., 2:15) and Bryan Giblin (182 lbs., 0:44) recorded pins for Triton. Mark Rosmarinofski (120 lbs.) won by a 14-8 decision. Pentucket's Tom Funk (113 lbs.) won by forfeit. Chad Leagault (160 lbs., 4:22) recorded a pin for the Sachems. Jeff Funk beat Cody Nixon, 6-2.
