The Clippers (9-3) struggled to close out the game after taking a lead into the fourth quarter. Emily Pettigrew led Newburyport with 21 points. Aly Leahy added 13. Abbie Bresnahan had nine. Whittier was 23 for 32 from the foul line, while Newburyport was 9 for 16.
Pentucket 56, Manchester Essex 44
Kelsi McNamara had 16 points and six rebounds for Pentucket (9-3). Carolyn Modlish had seven points and 10 rebounds.

Patrick Bjork led Georgetown (9-2) with 19 points. Matt Gott and Ben Denoncour added 16 each. For Triton (3-7), Corey Parsons had 21 points, and Ben Venora added 12.

Senior Jake Cross and sophomore Heath King scored their first varsity goals against Danvers (5-8-0). Tabor Smith had a goal and two assists. Freshman Scott Neenan and sophomore Cam Dodier scored their first varsity points. Sophomore Jake Harlow and junior Keith Bolduc combined on the shutout.
