Newburyport girls fall to Lynnfield

Girls Basketball

Lynnfield 35, Newburyport 34

The Clippers (10-4) lost for the second time in the last three games. The Pioneers (11-2) held an opponent under 40 points for the seventh time this season.

Boys Basketball

Triton 53, Amesbury 52

Cam Armand led Triton (4-8) with 15 points, including five 3-pointers. Corey Parsons added 14 for Triton on four 3-pointers.

Saugus 63, Georgetown 61

Matt Gott led Georgetown (9-4) with 19 points. Patrick Bjork added 16. Ben Noelk and Ben Denoncour had eight points each.
