Soccer

Seacoast United Soccer Club has a Grassroots — Skills and Scrimmage program starting the week of Oct. 22. For more information and to register, visit www.seacoastunited.com/kingston/.

Baseball/Softball

The Newburyport Pioneer League Baseball/Softball registration for the 2013 season is underway through Nov. 5. The program is open to boys and girls from Newburyport between the ages of 6 and 15. Basketball

Triton Youth Basketball will have a coaches meeting Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. (site to be determined). The Triton varsity coaches will hold a free player and coaches clinic Oct. 21 at Triton High. Registration for the Newburyport Boys Basketball (NBBA) runs through Oct. 31. The NBBA offers a variety of basketball programs for boys in grades 3-8. Visit www.freeteams.net/NBBA.

The Newburyport Basketball Academy will be running two separate basketball clinics this season for boys in first- to eighth grade. The first clinic will start Nov. 5 and run five consecutive Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Newburyport High for boys in the fifth- through eighth grade. The second clinic will run on Sundays starting Nov. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Newburyport High for boys in first- to eighth-grade. Wall of Fame

Tickets for the Newburyport Wall of Fame induction Oct. 25 are being sold at the Park Lunch, Tom Smolski (978-361-7635) and Newburyport High for $35 each. The banquet dinner will be at the Elks Lodge, with a cocktail hour starting at 6 p.m.
