Pentucket closes out CAL schedule with 'best game'

Boys Soccer

Pentucket 4, Hamilton-Wenham 0

Luis O’Meara, Trevor Collins, Matt Farrell and Brandon O’Neal scored goals for Pentucket (13-2-2) in what coach Christian Langlois described as the “best game of the season”. Connor Beaton had two assists. Davis Miller and Farrell had one assist each.

Masconomet 6, Newburyport 0

Newburyport (9-6-2) took its first loss in six games.

Georgetown 1, Manchester Essex 1

Andrew Nowak scored the goal for Georgetown (7-5-5) on an assist from John Laut. Gus Savage made three saves.

Field Hockey

Newburyport 2, Amesbury 0

Lea Tomasz had a goal and an assist for Newburyport (13-2-3). Eliza Filipancic added a goal. Marie Cahalane had an assist.

Girls Soccer

Hamilton-Wenham 5, Pentucket 0

Sam Bomba made seven saves for Pentucket (2-12-3).
