Amesbury scores game-winner against Pentucket late in third period

Amesbury 5, Pentucket 4

Senior Anthony Licciardello had two goals and two assists for Amesbury (3-0-0 overall, 2-0-0 CAL). Sophomore Tabor Smith had a goal and two assists. Freshman J.T. Chamberlain also had a goal and two assists. Junior Andy Reidy scored what proved the game-winner with four minutes to play. Evan King earned the victory in net for Amesbury with 19 saves. Pentucket’s Ian Mitchell scored two goals. Tom Pingree had two goals for the Sachems (1-2-1). Samantha Bomba had 27 saves.

Boys Indoor Track

Amesbury 50, Lynnfield 36

Amesbury’s Adam Elfki (high hurdles), Dylan Masi (50-yard dash), Ben Cullen (600), Mike Gilday (1,000), Perry Mroz (shot put) and the mile relay team of Cullen, Bram Robinson, Mike Gilday and Dylan Masi posted victories.

Girls Indoor Track

Lynnfield 44, Amesbury 31

Renee Vigneault (2-mile), Julia Shorter (mile) and Marissa Randall (shot put) won individual events for Amesbury.
