Port soccer team remains perfect

Newburyport 7, Saugus 1

Jaycie Triandafilou led the Clippers (3-0) with three goals and an assist. Amy Sullivan scored two goals. Shannon Tinkham and Sam Lore added a goal each. Bella Palma had three assists. Abbie Bresnahan added two. Julia Kipp also had one.

Lynnfield 4, Amesbury 0

Rachael Dawes played well on defense for Amesbury. Sophomore Logan Flanagan also showed potential on the offensive end.

Masconomet 9, Triton 2

Shannon Dube and Shauna Murrin scored goals for Triton.

Boys Soccer

Masconomet 5, Triton 0

Triton keeper Dalton Tzitzon and defender Eric Rybicki played well.

Georgetown 3, Ipswich 2

John Brock, Tim Quinn and Ben Noelk scored goals for the Royals. Jeremy McFadden, Will Soucy and Neil Murphy had assists. Gus Savage made five saves.

Newburyport 6, Saugus 5

Adam Traxler scored four goals for Newburyport (2-1). King Shema added two goals. John Spears, Brendan Byrum, Nick Fay and Noah Kolschea had assists. Matt Cote played well at center mid.

Golf

Triton 172, Amesbury 158

Jon Seward led Triton with 33 points. Kyle Hillick (31), Mike Shea (30), Ryan Manning (28) and Brad Small (26) also contributed for the Vikings (3-1). Triton’s Adam Chatterton had a hole-in-one on the par-3 second hole at Amesbury Country Club. Amesbury’s Sam Burnham (29 points), Kyle Patterson (28) and Patrick Halloran (28) led their team in scoring.

Lynnfield 162, Pentucket 127

Krystal Knight led the Sachems with 33 points. Michael Aiduk (22), John Sirois (20) and Dan Beaton (19) also contributed for Pentucket.

Newburyport 170, Saugus 135

Travis Koocher led the Clippers (3-0) with 38 points. Brendan Crowther and Cam Rogers added 28 each. Steve Simkins (26), Ben Ventura (25) and Austin Elmore (25) also factored in the scoring.

HAMILTON-WENHAN 19, AMESBURY 39

Amesbury’s Liam Gallagher (17:27), Jim Stone (17:46), Riley O’Connor (18:02), Cole Legg (18:24) and Patrick McCue (18:58) all finished in the top 10 against Ipswich.

Pentucket 18, Saugus 43

Pentucket 24, North Reading 31

Drew Kapener placed first overall (18:14) for Pentucket (3-0). Alex Demeule was second in 18:22. Sam Coppola (6th, 19:05), Jeremy Binding (8th, 19:16) and Josh Wildes (10th, 19:47) rounded out the top five for Pentucket.

Max Vye placed first for Newburyport in 18:02. Nick Carleo and Joe Molvar tied for second in 18:03. Josh Molvar, Tim Englehart and Chris Orlando came in next in 18:04.

For Triton, Austin Stevens (12th, 18:55), Ryan Kent (17th, 19:28), Ryan Sheedy (19th, 19:41), Will McCaffrey (23rd, 19:46) and Curran Callewaert (26th, 19:50) rounded out the team’s top five.

Hamilton-Wenham 15, Amesbury 50

Amesbury’s Samantha Stone (21:50), Hailee Gibadlo (23:23), Molly Rains (23:58), Emily Pugh (24:37) and Morgan Fahey (24:54) rounded out the top five for the team.

Pentucket 26, North Reading 33

Pentucket 20, Saugus 41

Emma Marchant placed second overall for Pentucket. Kelsi McNamara (4th), Breanna Repke (5th), Alena DiOlimpio (7th) and Sophie Capoeianco (9th) rounded out Pentucket’s top five.

For Triton, Liz Willmonton (2nd, 21:09), Maddie Quigley (7th, 22:25), Ceili Riccio (11th, 22:53), Nicole Sullivan (17th, 23:25) and Audrey Martin (18th, 23:27) rounded out the top five finishers for the team.
