NEWBURYPORT — A local firm has organized The Love Your Brand Experience scheduled for Saturday at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf to highlight the rise of experiential retail and immersive branding.

Reardon+Stewart, a brand immersion group in the Newburyport area, conceived the event. The business is led by a husband-wife strategy team, Nancy Reardon Stewart and Adam Stewart. They specialize in launching, revitalizing and managing brands with marketing campaigns and “immersive brand experiences.”

Speakers at The Love Your Brand Experience include award-winning designer Kelsy Stromski of Refinery 43 in Newburyport.

The lineup includes Bostonians who are rethinking what a brand, product or store experience can and should be, according to a press release from Reardon+Stewart. The event will focus on strategies that bridge the divide between online engagement and the offline experiences that consumers want, the release said.

“Over the past decade, many brands assumed that online strategies alone could drive sales, which is why we’ve seen such a significant investment in e-commerce,” said founder Reardon Stewart in the release. “But that strategy doesn’t align with millennial purchasing behavior. Data shows over 75 percent of millennials prefer to spend money on experiences over products, which proves we’re investing in our lives offline more than people realize.”

Love Your Brand Experience speakers include Caroline Davis of WS Development, the property management group behind The Current pop-up community in Boston’s Seaport District.

Almost 70 percent of millennials believe attending a live event or experience makes them more connected to other people, according to a study by Harris Group and Eventbrite, the release said.

Among the Newburyport area speakers, Reardon Stewart will talk about messaging campaigns that target and resonate with the people most likely to invest in a company’s products or services. Stromski will talk about logo and packaging design that makes brands stand out.

Event sponsors are Jamestown Properties, Boston Business Women, Wistia and EditMate. General admission tickets are $99 and include the main event from 10 to 3 p.m. and a networking party from 3 to 5 p.m. For more information, including the full speaker lineup and agenda, go to
