NEWBURYPORT – Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank will open a branch early this spring in Exeter, New Hampshire.
The bank has New Hampshire branches in Dover and Portsmouth, so adding Exeter will provide even more customer convenience and easy access for those in the region, according to a press release.
The new branch will be full service, available for retail, residential, commercial and government banking and treasury services.
Lloyd L. Hamm Jr., president and CEO, said he believes the new Exeter location will be welcomed by current customers and will appeal to new customers as well.
“First and foremost, adding a new banking office in Exeter will make banking with us more convenient for our present customers. But we also firmly believe we have much to offer those who have never banked with us,” he said in the release.
“And as we do with every new branch location, we will become intimately involved in the needs of Exeter and the surrounding communities.”
Newburyport Bank has nine locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and more than $860 million in assets.
