Peach of a day
Cider Hill Farm, at 45 Fern Ave. in Amesbury, is hosting a Peach & Truck Festival this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be peach and blueberry picking, hayrides, live music, stories, lawn games, peachy treats, touch-a-truck with vintage tractors and firetrucks, and peach cider sangria for the adults.
Admission is free. Peach picking costs $15 for 4 quarts and $28 for 8 quarts.

Local classic car enthusiasts will be in their element this week, with several events geared toward them.
The eighth annual “Cruisin’ the ’50s” takes downtown Newburyport tonight from 5 to 8, while Georgetown’s Cafe Sarina and Nunan Florist & Greenhouses, 269 Central St., is hosting Cruise Night today from 4 to 7 p.m. — continuing every Thursday through September.
On Saturday, wake up to Cars & Coffee from 7 to 9 a.m. at Port Plaza, 45 Storey Ave., Newburyport. The weekly event is open to all.
Later Saturday, head over to Skip’s Snack Bar, Route 110, Merrimac, from 2 to 7 p.m. for the 25th anniversary celebration of its Cruise Nights, featuring music by Billy D & the Rock-its.
Cuddle cute cats and kooky kittens at the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society’s next Kitty Cafe, set for this Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Newburyport Public Library, 94 State St.
Visitors will hear about the amazing adoption journey of Ollivander, one of the animals attending, and can get started on their own cat adoption paperwork. There will also be light refreshments, cat care tips and more.
