Holiday tones

The New England Tenors Holiday Concert returns to the Immaculate Conception Church in Newburyport next Sunday, Dec. 1, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The trio of singers will present seasonal favorites. Performers will also include My Own Voice, a choir for youths with special needs, and members of the Immaculate Conception adult and children’s choirs.

The annual event raises money for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, which supports needy people in the region. Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for children 12 and younger. They will be available at the door, 42 Green St.

Sweet show

The classic tale of Charlie Bucket and the magical chocolate factory run by an eccentric candy man comes to life this weekend in “Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Kids.”

TTS Players will present the musical, featuring a cast of local children ages 5-12, this Friday at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Byfield Community Arts Center, 7 Central St.

Going Greek

The Greek Ladies Aid Society of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church is presenting its annual Harvest Greek Lunch/Dinner and Greek Pastry and Rummage Sale on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Starting at noon at Nicholson Hall, 7 Harris St., the signature lamb shank meal with stewed beans and rice will be served for $20 per person. Other Greek favorites, both savory and sweet, will be available a la carte for $6 and under.
