Chamber Pot raffle tickets on sale

NEWBURYPORT – The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce & Industry announces the sale of the group’s annual Chamber Pot raffle tickets.

Members of the community are invited to participate in the raffle with a 28:1 chance of winning one of 21 cash prizes. Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased at participating locations.

The Chamber Pot event will be held at Brick & Ash on Feb. 26 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Those attending can enjoy the evening of the live drawing along with food and beverages. The event will also include a 50/50 raffle and silent auction.

Last year, nearly 600 tickets were sold and more than $18,000 in cash prizes were awarded to ticket holders. The first-prize winner took home a $10,000 cash prize. 

Here are the cash prizes this year: First (one winner), $10,000; second (one winner), $2,500; third (two winners), $1,000 each; fourth (four winners), $500 each; fifth (five winners), $200 each; sixth (eight winners), $100 each.

Raffle tickets can be purchased at Amy Williams, Carry Out Cafe, Changing Tides Cafe & Donut Shop, Chococoa Baking Co. & Cafe, Cottage Island Market & Spirits, Farley’s of Newburyport, Fig Tree Kitchen, Greetings By Design, Inn Street Barbershop, Kelly’s True Value, Leary’s Fine Wine & Spirits, Partridge in a Bear Tree, St. Jean’s Credit Union and the Greater Newburyport Chamber office.
