AMESBURY — Early voting will be available for the presidential primary March 3 and the state election Nov. 3 in City Hall Auditorium, 62 Friend St.
There is no early voting for the state primary Sept. 1.
The dates and times of early voting for the presidential primary are: Feb. 24, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Feb. 25, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Feb. 26, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Feb. 27, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Feb. 28, 8 a.m. to noon.
On Election Day, voting is from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Amesbury High School, 5 Highland St.
Residents are asked to contact the city clerk’s office in advance if they have questions about accommodations and accessibility. Several handicapped-accessible parking spots are available at the high school.
There is a machine available, AutoMark, that can read the ballot to voters through headphones, magnify the ballot text and mark the ballot. Handheld magnifiers and lights can be requested at the check-in tables. If needed, ask an election worker for assistance.
The deadline to register to vote is 20 days before the election.
