Kendra Kurth Clinton of Amesbury, who passed away Feb. 23, holds her then 4-month-old son, Ewan. Her friends are planning a fundraiser in her memory April 4 at Flatbread, with proceeds going to support her family.

AMESBURY — The friends of an Amesbury mother who passed away unexpectedly in February are inviting the community to come together in support of her family.

Kendra Kurth Clinton died Feb. 23 at the age of 40, leaving behind her husband Stephen; 4-month-old son, Ewan; brother Erik, and mother Beverly of Newburyport.

Clinton worked as a graphic designer for her own company. She could be found most days walking her two rescue dogs, Henry and Lena, at Battis Farm in Amesbury. She loved nature and outdoor activities and is remembered for her kindness and generosity, which friends say touched the lives of many.

On Wednesday, April 4, a fundraiser will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. at Flatbread Co. in Market Square in downtown Amesbury. A portion of the proceeds from all pizzas sold during the event will be donated to the Kendra Kurth Clinton Memorial Fund benefiting her son. A raffle for numerous items donated by local business is also planned to support the fund.
